Here in the West … brand revision tends to be more about reducing as my points, lines and curves as possible … minimizing to death …. and in Pakistan … it all seems about adding as my flowers, cows, fireworks, chicks and further shushkay as possible!
true that! basically the idea is that as a brand ages, becomes more recognized, and garners a following/customer base, all superfluous and decorative elements should be adjusted so that the most vital elements of the brand are highlighted. Take the Twitter rebrand for example: they got rid of everything but the pretty bird in the trademark Twitter blue. But here….oh the horrors.
