A few days ago Express News, one of the most watched news channels here in Pakistan, updated their logo to this ridiculous mess. Everything is wrong with this new logo, I wonder what was going through the designers’ minds when they proposed this, and what caused the bosses to approve this crap.

I rather liked their old logo and I think their on-air look and sound package was much better than any of the other channels out there. Well, too bad.

Just for perspective- their original logo when they launched back in 2007 (or was it 2008).

Judging from this, and the latest one, it is safe to assume that actually the pretty good middle logo was a mistake- they much prefer bad design.
